IT NEEDS SOME WORK TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. IT TURNS BY HAND FREELY. THE SOUND IS THERE BUT WITH THE NORMAL AGING HUM. USUALLY THE WORK IS VERY MINOR BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO DO IT. BUT AGAIN, BEING ORIGINAL INTERNALLY, THIS HAPPENS FROM JUST SITTING FOR 55 YEARS WITHOUT MAINTAINENCE. THE METAL LATCHES HAVE SOME DULLING, BUT IN GREAT SHAPE THE TOP HAS SOME AFFECT TO AN AREA WHERE A ROUND LIKELY, HOT CUP OF COFFEE WAS PLACED CHANGING THE TEXTURE A BIT, BUT THE COLOR IS ALL THERE. Rare 1964 Original Beatles Phonograph Record Player with Box and Booklet Model 1000. Player comes with its original box and booklet, an extremely hard to find matched set. In fully working order, Plays Well. Player comes from the estate of a popular Los Angeles television celebrity who recently passed away. The name of the original owner and a letter from the family certifying this will be revealed and given to the buyer once payment is made. Player is in Very Good condition. There are just a fe...w minor scuff marks from storage and some very slight deterioration of the foam on the player, but nothing major. Mechanical and electrics are all in good working order. Up for sale is a Polly Portable phonograph from the Polly Portable Phonograph Co. in New York, New York. I believe it was made in 1922 and it winds up so you could take it with you wherever you went. It's in a little rough as found condition but it runs good. The leather handle needs replaced and the whole thing just needs a good refurbishing. The case is about 11" x 11" x 3" and needs a good cleaning.
