Original old Lakota Sioux pipe tomahawk....head forged iron....classical form spontoon head with nice forged curls on each side.......original ash haft...head is very tight to the handle no looseness!!!old leather gasket between the eye and haft, has rotted out not visible.20 blacksmith made square shank old tacks...hot file branding marks in sequence down the haft...the wood is distressed and has wear patterns consistent with age.It does draw a little, .has not been restored or messed... with...22 inch long haft and 10 inch long head...Ex Jan Sorgenfrei was purchased out of the collection in the late 90's.a large beautiful tomahawk for your collection...$18 shipping to USA.
