This is for a really nice and exceptionally clean antique Georgian pocket folding magnifying glass from around 1780. It has a nice reeded silver frame, and decorative silver mounts. It is marked on the edge of the silver with a little silver mark, i think its possibly French, but i am not entirely sure. Everything about the glass is superb, the scales are smooth and shiny with a high lustre to them, the glass is lovely and clear too, its not scratched or dulled in any way, it magnifies... well and gives a really good clear image, and the silver frames and mounts are perfectly clean with no dings or dents and it folds up smoothly and tightly with no play whatsoever. The whole piece is really as clean as you find. It measures 92mm x 42mm when folded up.
