Hello and thank you for your time. Up for auction today I have a very nice old wood plane with a corrugated bottom. I have a Stanley Bailey No. 4 1/2 hand plane. With a corrugated bottom and it is a very nice wood plane. First off you need to know that this item is used and it has been pre owned. But this is a very nice plane. It is ready to go to work asap, or if you get it for your collection it is ready to go. This thing is very sharp and will cut you bad if you are not caref...ul. However, in the right hand this is the plane to do work. If you are thinking about using one of these old planes to do some wood work with. This is the one you should use. I'm no expert but I have used enough of these old planes, to say, that this plane is the same kind that I have done most of my work with. Hands down the 4 1/2 Stanley Bailey wood plane is my favorite plane to work with. But then again, What do I know? This item is about 10 and 1/2 inches long. It is about 3 and 1/4 inches wide. And if you would please look close at all of my pictures I have, you should be able to see for yourself, just how nice this thing really is.
