VERY RARE UK ORIGINAL 1971 FULL SIZE 12" ONE SIDED ACETATE FROM THE PAUL McCARTNEY CLASSIC, " RAM " ALBUM! NEAR MINT- CONDITION!VINTAGE 1971 UK ORIGINAL FULL SIZE 12" ONE SIDED ACETATE ALBUM RECORDING FOR THE PAUL McCARTNEY CLASSIC, " RAM " ALBUM! THIS IS A VINTAGE AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL ACETATE RECORDING. ACETATES ARE VERY RARE FOR ANY ALBUM. THEY WERE EXPENSIVE TO MAKE AND WERE ORDERED FOR SOME, BUT NOT ALL RECORDS PRESSED. THEY WERE PRIMARILY USED TO TEST THE INTEGRITY OF THE SOUND PRES...ERVATION DURING THE TRANSFER FROM ' MASTER TAPE TO DISC ' PROCESS. ALSO USED FOR LP REVIEW AS WELL. THIS IS THE ' SIDE TWO ' RECORD WITH THE OPPOSITE SIDE BEING BLANK. SIDE TWO OF THE ALBUM HAS SIX TRACKS. I DID NOT PLAY THE RECORD FOR AN ' A / B ' COMPARISON FROM THIS TO THE FINAL COMMERCIAL ISSUE ALBUM. SOMETIMES THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN THE ACETATE AND THE FINAL ISSUE. BUT BID AS IF IT WAS THE STANDARD VERSION AS I CANNOT GUARANTEE IT'S ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE STANDARD TRACKS. I DID PLAY IT ENOUGH TO VERIFY THE SOUND QUALITY, ETC. IT'S VERY NICE INDEED. LABEL HAS THE WHITE GREASE PIN TEXT " WINGS B " WRITTEN. THIS WAS STANDARD PRACTICE FOR ACETATES. NOTE ALSO MANY ACETATES DID NOT MAKE PAPER LABELS AS THIS ONE. THEY WOULD WRITE DIRECTLY ON THE LABEL AREA IN GREASE PEN.
