VERY NICE PAIR c1930 JENNINGS BROS BRONZED METAL SETTER DOG FIGURAL BOOK ENDSAMAZNG ESTATE TREASURE AUCTION INCLUDNG FINE ASIAN ARTS Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions! Up for auction with no reserve is a really wonderful Pair of c1930 Jennings Bros. Bronzed Metal Setter Dog Figural Bookends. These are some of the finest Bookends I have sold in quite a while, I just love the tired look on their faces, like they have been running all day and just want to take a nap. The Bookends are signed for the fine firm of Jennings Bros who made many different styles and models of bookends which are very sought after. The Bookends are Bronzed Spelter or White metal with green marble or stone bases. The Bookends overall are in excellent condition as seen with minor signs of use consistent with the age plus one is a tiny bit loose from the base. The Bookends make for a great display, with each measuring 6-1/4 inches long by 3-5/8 inches wide across the bases and standing 6 inches tall. If you collect Bookends or have many books on dogs then this pair is a must have and I am sure the new owner will love them as much as I do !
